Along the Abeek at the Luysmolen (mill) in Bocholt, a picnic area with hammocks has been set up where it is wonderful to ‘hang out’. There are six hammocks available that you can hire from the Luysmolen at 3 euros each for two hours.
You can also book a picnic for two people at 30 euros. This includes a richly filled picnic basket with blankets, the famous Luysen bread with filling of your choice, ‘vlaai’ (sweet flan), a bottle of fruit juice and a bottle of Cava, but also two hammocks that you can enjoy for two hours. There is also a new group activity called 'From forest bathing to relaxing in a hammock' which allows you to wind down completely. During the walk with Explorer (guide), you discover nature with all your senses - taking a metaphorical forest bath - and feeling the beneficial effect of nature.
